Shipper Receiver Forklift Operator

About the role

Confidential is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented shipper/receiver to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling in a fast-paced environment.

Working schedule: Mon-Fri (08:00 AM – 05:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and ship finished goods, including furniture, components, and hardware.
• Verify shipping documents, including packing slips and bills of lading.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and update records in the ERP system.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and material handling equipment.
• Label, track, and organize materials in designated areas.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or delays to relevant teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification is an asset.
• Basic computer and ERP system knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow WHMIS and workplace safety procedures and use PPE, such as safety shoes and glasses.

Working conditions include an indoor warehouse with exposure to dust, noise, and materials, and standing and walking for long periods.
