About The Position

• Prepare and complete complex daily production reports using multiple Excel spreadsheets
• Collaborate directly with the Shipping Supervisor on all shipping responsibilities
• Answer phones, schedule truck appointments, respond to sales and forklift driver inquiries, and route rail cars
• Maintain projection files with current production data and support weekly planer projections
• Complete various certificates such as certificates of origin, heat treat, WWPA, etc.
• Assist with month-end physical inventories alongside the team
• Generate essential daily and monthly departmental reports
• Provide backup support for the log support desk
• Work efficiently within deadlines and established schedules

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; capable of creating and maintaining Excel workbooks
• High accuracy and efficiency in data entry
• Strong organizational skills and dependability
• Self-motivated with a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities
• Ability to meet deadlines and work within set schedules
