Job description
About the role
Attend to customer bicycle and spare part sales, bicycle servicing, and cash receipting under the supervision of the Consumer Sales & Bicycle Ecosystem Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile sales daily, manage petty cash, process payments, and bank cash and cheques.
- Prepare invoices, update bin cards, and reconcile inventory.
- Provide customer service and maintain office assets.
- Service and repair bicycles and control stock.
- Renew shop and trading licenses and perform other duties.
Requirements
- Minimum advanced certificate in business management, sales, marketing, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years’ retail shop management experience.
- Training in shop administration and sales, good customer relations, and computer skills.
- Knowledge of Buffalo Bicycle repairs.
- Attention to detail; Microsoft Office and Pastel skills; analytical and negotiation skills; and understanding of operational policies, statutory finance requirements, and inventory management.
