Job description
About the role
The Paralympic Sports Association (PSA) is hiring a casual Sledges in Schools assistant to help facilitate the daytime sledge hockey programming in Edmonton and area.
Requirements
- Interest in teaching the sport of sledge hockey
- Willing and able to repeatedly lift and transport 28 sets of sledge equipment to and from arenas (up to 50 pounds)
- Has the ability to walk or skate (either stand-up or in a sledge) on ice to assist students
- Preference given to candidates 25 years of age or older, who may be willing to drive a rental van
Schedule
- In-Person
- Casual Role
- Flexible daytime availability
- Start date: October 19, 2026, or when position is filled.
- up to 20/week
Pay
- Starting wage: $18/hour
