Snowflake Developer

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to join our team in New York City, New York. This contract position is instrumental in delivering high-quality data solutions and plays a vital role in our data management strategy. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake database applications and ETL pipelines. Create and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. Implement and manage data integration processes using SSIS or similar ETL tools. Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake architectures and workflows. Maintain documentation for all development processes, including data models and workflows. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers to ensure code quality and best practices. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, ETL processes, and SSIS. Minimum 3 years of experience in data development or data engineering roles. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud environments. Industry-standard certifications related to data management or Snowflake are preferred. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team of data professionals. This role reports directly to the Data Engineering Manager and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including data analysts, business intelligence professionals, and IT support to drive data initiatives.
