Social Media Engagement & Outreach Specialist

About the role

This role will support several brands and initiatives across healthcare, physician entrepreneurship, education, podcasting, publishing, professional development, and business.

Tasks

• Creating, scheduling, and managing social media content
• Growing and engaging our online communities
• Repurposing podcasts, videos, articles, interviews, and other content
• Conducting proactive outreach for podcast appearances, speaking opportunities, collaborations, partnerships, book promotion, and other visibility opportunities
• Supporting launches, webinars, events, programs, and campaigns
• Managing multiple social media accounts and content calendars
• Monitoring analytics and identifying opportunities to improve performance
• Taking ownership of assignments and following through without requiring constant reminders

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience managing social media accounts for a business, brand, or organization
• Experience with proactive social media outreach, including initiating conversations with potential collaborators, partners, podcast hosts, speakers, clients, or other business contacts
