A confidential U.S.-based technology company is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join its engineering team.This is a highly technical role for engineers with a strong software development background who enjoy building scalable automation solutions and improving software quality throughout the development lifecycle. This is an engineering-first position, not a traditional QA role.📍 Location: Latin America (Remote)
Please Note:• Only candidates currently residing in LATAM will be considered• Applications from outside Latin America will not be reviewed• Please apply directly through LinkedIn onlyWhat You'll Do• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications and APIs• Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve software quality from day one• Build automation solutions that integrate into CI/CD pipelines• Increase test coverage, reliability, and engineering efficiency• Participate in technical discussions and help shape quality best practicesWhat We're Looking For✅ 4+ years of experience as an SDET, Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer✅ Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java, or similar languages✅ Hands-on experience with Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber/BDD, and automation frameworks✅ Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI✅ Solid understanding of APIs, web applications, and Agile development✅ Advanced English communication skills for daily collaboration with U.S.-based teamsBonus Qualifications⭐ Experience with PHP, Laravel, and/or Vue.js⭐ Experience designing Test Automation Architecture or serving as a Test Automation Architect is a major plus⭐ AWS or other cloud platforms⭐ Docker and containerized applications⭐ Accessibility, security, or performance testing experienceWhy Join?• 100% remote position• No travel required• Long-term opportunity supporting a U.S. client• Collaborative engineering team using modern technologies
