Software Engineer

Job Profile SummaryUnder the direction of a Development Team Lead, the Software Engineer will write, debug, test, and maintain code written by the Senior Software Engineer and their peers.The full stack developer will assist the Development Team Lead in the technical design of solutions to meet requirements given by the Product Owner and Development Team Lead.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:Develop software solutions from requirements provided by the Product Owner and Development Team Lead.Write, debug, test, and maintain C# codeProvide support when bugs arisePerform paired programming with other developersAssist with the technical design and data architecture for software solutionsWrite unit tests to verify functionality as dictated by the requirementsFunctionally test solutions prior to submitting for reviewConduct peer review of teammates’ codePerform troubleshooting steps to assist support with development-maintained systemsPerform other functions as requested by the Development Team Lead
Required QualificationsHistory of architecting and developing complex applications, preferably in a service provider settingExperience working with .NET Core, C#Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development processExperience with git, Azure DevOps, or other SCM technologiesExperience working with relational databases and ORM technologiesExperience using unit test toolsKnowledge of object-oriented design and proven implementation skills
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent3+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale, highly available distributed systemsExperience using Domain Driven DesignStrong work ethic, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExperience working with tracking, testing, source control and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps, Postman, Swagger, Git, Wiki, SharePoint and TeamsIntegration/Architecture patterns background: Microservices, SOA, CQRS, Asynchronous Messaging, Service Bus, APIs, REST, Web Services, AngularExperience working with cloud/PaaS services such as AWS, Azure, etc.Experience with back-end Infrastructure
