Senior Automation Engineer – Software Testing📍 Remote | Latin America🌎 Confidential U.S. Client
We're looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join an engineering team supporting a U.S.-based client. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy building automation frameworks, writing production-quality code, and improving software quality through engineering rather than manual testing.This is a development-focused role where automation is treated as software, not as a QA activity.What You'll Be Working OnCreate and maintain scalable test automation solutions.Develop end-to-end automated tests using Playwright as the primary framework.Integrate automated testing into modern CI/CD workflows.Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.Collaborate closely with developers and product teams.Increase automation coverage while improving reliability and release quality.What We're Looking For✅ 4+ years of experience in software development and test automation.✅ Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java, or similar languages.✅ Hands-on experience with Playwright is required.✅ Experience designing or maintaining automation frameworks.✅ Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber/BDD, and Page Object Model.✅ Experience using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar.✅ Solid understanding of APIs, web applications, Agile development, and software architecture.✅ Advanced English for daily collaboration with U.S. teams.Nice to Have⭐ Experience as a Test Automation Architect or designing enterprise automation frameworks.⭐ Previous experience as a Backend Engineer or Full Stack Engineer.⭐ Experience with PHP, Laravel, and Vue.js.⭐ AWS, Docker, or cloud-native development experience.What You'll GetFully remote position.Long-term engagement with a confidential U.S. client.Modern engineering environment.Collaborative team with strong technical standards.Before ApplyingThis opportunity is available only to professionals based in Latin America.Applications are accepted through LinkedIn only.
