Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at our fast-scaling tech firm, you will be the gatekeeper for product reliability. Your work will directly influence release quality and user satisfaction, reinforcing our reputation for robust, high-impact solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and execute end-to-end test plans, test cases, and test scripts across web and mobile applications. Leverage industry-standard test management platforms to maximize coverage, efficiency, and repeatability. Identify, log, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution. Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and UX to clarify requirements and embed quality from sprint planning through release. Perform regression, performance, and user-acceptance testing to validate functionality and mitigate risk. Analyze requirements and specifications to surface gaps, ambiguities, or inconsistencies early. Produce clear, concise documentation of test results and user feedback to inform continuous improvement. Required & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Hands-on QA experience. Proficient in defect-tracking best practices and root-cause analysis methods. Solid grasp of debugging techniques and systematic problem-solving. Familiarity with test documentation standards and reporting practices. Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency—written and spoken—to collaborate with a distributed, cross-functional team. ISTQB or comparable QA certification is a strong plus.
