Each EigenCarbon (EC) token represents 1kg of measured and verified CO₂ abatement for a specific vintage year, providing clear traceability of climate impact. By issuing credits on Ethereum, EigenCarbon enables transparent, globally tradeable carbon assets with deep on-chain liquidity. The platform prioritizes rewarding Indigenous communities and land stewards who protect ecosystems, aligning with ESG standards and net-zero goals. EigenCarbon is building scalable, credible climate solutions and invites people to help grow a regenerative finance ecosystem.
Role Description This is a remote, contract role focused on building and managing land partnerships across South America to support high-integrity carbon abatement projects. The South American Land Partnerships professional will identify and engage Indigenous communities, land stewards, and local project developers to create mutually beneficial carbon credit initiatives aligned with EigenCarbon’s standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing prospective partners, conducting due diligence on land use and abatement potential, and coordinating project scoping and documentation. The role involves negotiating partnership terms, supporting partners through verification and onboarding processes, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate representation of projects on-chain. The professional will also monitor existing partnerships, gather impact data, and provide regular updates to stakeholders to maintain trust and long-term collaboration.
Qualifications
Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships skills to source, build, and maintain relationships with land stewards, Indigenous communities, and regional stakeholders.Sales and Communication skills to negotiate agreements, present EigenCarbon’s value proposition, and support partners through the onboarding process.Analytical Skills to assess project viability, interpret environmental and financial data, and contribute to robust due diligence and risk assessment.Knowledge of carbon markets, climate finance, or ESG frameworks, particularly in Latin America, is highly beneficial.Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with strong written and verbal communication in English.Demonstrated experience working with land-based or conservation projects, Indigenous or local communities, or environmental NGOs.Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-cultural environment and collaborate effectively with global teams.Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, economics, international relations, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
