Role Description This full-time remote role is for a Spanish to English Interpreter who will facilitate clear, accurate, and confidential communication between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking parties. Daily responsibilities include performing real-time interpreting during medical, business, or customer service interactions, ensuring that meaning, tone, and context are preserved. The interpreter will handle scheduled and on-demand calls or virtual sessions, complying with HIPAA and other privacy requirements. The role also involves accurately translating brief written materials when needed, maintaining detailed records of sessions as required, and collaborating with coordinators or clients to support service quality and continuity.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Medical Interpretation and Interpreting for healthcare or clinical settings.Candidates should possess skills in Simultaneous Interpretation to manage real-time spoken communication efficiently.Candidates should possess skills in Translation and Language Services to support accurate written and verbal communication.Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English, with excellent listening, comprehension, and speaking abilities.HIPAA certification or willingness to obtain it, with a solid understanding of confidentiality and ethical standards.Previous experience as a remote interpreter or in customer-facing language roles is highly beneficial.Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.Relevant training, certification, or coursework in interpreting, translation, linguistics, or related fields is preferred.
