Job description
About the role
NY’s newly created Office of Digital Innovation, Governance, Integrity, & Trust (DIGIT) will operate as NY’s AI regulator and implement the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Safety & Education (RAISE) Act.
DIGIT is housed within the Department of Financial Services.
Tasks
- Helps oversee implementation of the RAISE Act, New York’s frontier AI safety law.
- Serves as the subject matter expert and advisor to the Superintendent on technology regulation.
- Drives policy and regulatory development.
- Leads executive-level briefings.
Pay
- $180,562 - $223,625 (salary commensurate with experience)
- An additional $4,150 available for an NYC-based appointment.
