Special Education Teacher in Albany, CA (2026–2027)

Every Special Child is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher in Albany, California, for the 2026–2027 school year. In this on-site role, you will support students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive, collaborative school environment. Pay is $57 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide differentiated instruction based on students’ needs.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learners.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff.
• Use positive intervention strategies to support classroom behavior.
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable regulations.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
