About the role

The Department of Pathology is seeking a dynamic and strategic SR. MANAGER, FINANCE to join our team in Miami.

The Sr. Manager, Finance will serve as a trusted advisor and business partner, guiding the department’s financial strategy across forecasting, budgeting, treasury operations, and long-range planning.

Tasks

• Partner with leadership to develop and advance financial objectives, strategies, and policies that support the University’s mission and vision.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, providing insightful analysis, strategic recommendations, and comprehensive supporting documentation.
• Deliver meaningful financial reporting and translate complex data into actionable insights for organizational leaders.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and consultative support to drive operational excellence and informed decision-making.
• Analyze financial data and prepare key statements, including balance sheets and profit-and-loss reports, to support organizational planning.
• Develop forecasts and financial models that anticipate trends, evaluate opportunities, and strengthen business performance.
• Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities while recommending solutions that enhance long-term sustainability.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
