Purpose StatementThe Staff Accountant supports the financial operations of the organization by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role plays a vital part in the day-to-day accounting functions and works closely with the finance team and leadership to support the organization's overall financial health. English proficiency (written and verbal) is required for this role

Job Essentials, Responsibilities, and DutiesAccounting & BookkeepingMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.Support month-end and year-end close processe

Compliance & ReportingEnsure all financial transactions comply with GAAP and internal company policies.Assist in the preparation of tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation for audit readiness.Identify and communicate discrepancies or concerns to the accounting manag

Cross-Functional SupportCollaborate with internal departments to gather financial data and provide accounting support.Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.Respond to vendor, client, and internal inquiries regarding financial transactions.Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as nee

Core Qualifications (Strongly Preferred)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (highly preferred).7-8 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in a professional setting.Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required.Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting principles.Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accu
racy.
