Staff Accountant

At Staffing Abroad we are looking for a Staff Accountant for a reowned Fintech company in the United States.
Salary: 8.000.000COP to 12.000.000COP
Responsibilities include but not limited to:Verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.Reconciling bank transactions with data produced by operations.Maintaining and balancing general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.Producing error-free accounting reports and analyzing results.· Preparing schedules for internal and external use.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Support month-end and year-end close process.Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status.
RequirementsMinimum 3-4 years experienceAdvanced English B2+ or higher.Highly detail oriented and strong organizational skillsThorough knowledge of basic accounting proceduresIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Familiarity with financial accounting statementsExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processHands-on experience with QuickBooks DesktopStrong communication skills for internal business department and outside investorsBS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevantExperience with accounting for intercompany activityAbility to work independently and as a teamAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesAnalytical skillsMust have excellent work habits and be reliable
