About the role
Reporting to the CFO at an established financial institution, the Staff Accountant handles high-volume daily cash and balance sheet reconciliations, operational journal entries, teller and vault balancing, and daily banking settlements.
Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume daily cash and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare operational journal entries.
- Balance teller and vault activity.
- Handle daily banking settlements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of accounting or heavy reconciliation experience.
- Banking, credit union, or Fiserv experience is a major plus.
