Steward Job in Nyarukurazo, Rwanda

Mugisha Emmanuel is hiring a full-time Steward in Nyarukurazo, Southern Province, Rwanda. This on-site role helps maintain clean, organized dining and kitchen facilities, supporting a welcoming guest experience and an efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dining areas and kitchen spaces.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly and promptly.
• Keep kitchen supply and storage areas organized.
• Set up and break down dining areas for events.
• Coordinate with kitchen and dining staff to support timely service.
• Follow food-service health and safety requirements.
• Report maintenance or cleanliness concerns to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous steward or similar experience is preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of food-service health and safety.

Team and Reporting

Report to the Kitchen Manager and work closely with other stewards and kitchen staff. The team values collaboration, reliable service, and each employee’s contribution.
