Store Manager/Sales Professional

About the role

This position is a one-person operation.

Support from an established furniture and appliance retail company and head office.

Tasks

• Independently manage the day-to-day operations of the Digby store.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with furniture, mattress, and appliance purchases.
• Develop product knowledge and confidently explain features and benefits of furniture and appliances.
• Handle all aspects of the sales process, including transactions, orders, and customer inquiries.
• Operate computer systems and maintain accurate sales records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable showroom.
• Receive, move, and handle furniture and appliances as required.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving merchandise, with part-time assistance available when required.
• Take responsibility for store performance, customer satisfaction, and overall operations.

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or management experience preferred.
• Experience selling furniture, mattresses, or appliances would be an asset.

Schedule

• Five-day workweek.
• No evening shifts.

Pay

• Earning potential of $50,000+ annually, through hourly wages plus sales commissions.
