Structural Designer

Tasks

• Create 3D models, layouts, assemblies, and production drawings.
• Design and model skids, weldments, pipe routing, and packaged equipment.
• Prepare section views, BOMs, dimensions, and detailed drawings.
• Interpret P&IDs, equipment layouts, GA drawings, and design specifications.
• Review designs to ensure they meet customer requirements and project specifications.
• Work closely with engineering, design, manufacturing, and other teams.
• Participate in model reviews and follow established design processes.
• Deliver accurate production-level drawings with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Revit – pipe routing, skids, and weldments.
• Experience with SolidWorks and 3D modeling.
• Experience in package/plant design and layouts.
• Knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
• Familiarity with applicable codes such as ASME, AISC, AWS, NEC, IEC, UMC, OSHA, and building codes.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate production drawings.
