Substitute Special Education Trainee

WE ARE HIRING

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on an as needed basis performing beginning-level work in assisting in meeting the physical and educational needs of students in special education schools and classes.
- Assist teachers by reinforcing lessons, monitoring student work, and adapting materials as needed.
- Help students use classroom tools and keep routine records such as attendance, grades, and test scores.

Salary: $24.85 / Hourly

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency and one of the following:
- Completion of 48 semester units or 72 quarter units from a recognized college or university.
- Possession of an associate or higher degree from a recognized college or university.
A passing score on the District Proficiency Test AND Instructional Assistance Test.
