Job description
About the role
The Support Worker delivers direct, family-centered support and cultural mentorship to children and families in accordance with agency care standards.
Tasks
- Provide direct support, life-skills assistance, and mentorship to children, youth, and families aligned with family preservation plans.
- Assist caseworkers and Child Protection staff in implementing family care plans, cultural activities, and community connections.
- Safely transport children and family members to medical appointments, scheduled family access visits, school programs, and community events.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely daily progress notes, client logs, and statistical information for program reporting.
