Support Worker

The participant has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3 and requires consistent, person-centred support with daily activities, emotional regulation and community participation.
Support includes 2:1 support during community access, personal care assistance, emotional regulation support, daily routines and activities, supporting safety, independence and meaningful participation, working collaboratively within a 2:1 support team.
Applicants do not need to speak both languages, and South Sudanese background or language ability is not a requirement for the role.
Requirements include being compassionate, patient, reliable, professional, respectful, experienced in disability support, with ASD experience highly regarded, comfortable working collaboratively as part of a 2:1 support team. Male support workers are particularly encouraged to apply based on the participant/family's support preference; applications are welcome from all suitable candidates.
