About the role
2nd Steps is a program with Sanctum Care Group that operates independent living and assessment suites for high-risk families.
Tasks
- Provide oversight for the independent living program.
- Provide direct assistance to clients, ensuring compliance with program rules while embodying harm reduction and trauma-informed care approaches.
- Guide residents in life skills development, building routines, accessing community resources, and parenting support.
Requirements
- Knowledge in Harm Reduction & Trauma- and Violence-Informed Care, Mental Health & Addictions, Child Protection Act & assessment practices, Community resources and support networks, Strong communication, teamwork, and decision
Schedule
- Casual; Permanent
- Across day, evening, and night shifts.
