Job description
Tasks
- Manage multiple land surveying projects from initiation through completion.
- Lead and supervise survey crews, field personnel, and technical staff.
- Oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys.
- Review survey data, calculations, field notes, maps, and technical deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and client communications.
- Oversee construction staking and land development surveying activities.
- Ensure accuracy, quality control, and compliance with surveying standards.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, clients, and government agencies.
Requirements
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
- Significant professional land surveying experience.
- Previous experience managing survey projects and teams.
- Strong knowledge of boundary, topographic, land development, and construction surveying.
- Experience with GPS/GNSS, Total Station, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and survey data processing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Pay
- $125,000 – $165,000 per year (DOE)
