We are looking for our next Sustainability LeadLocation: Guadalajara, JAL
About the role:As our Sustainability Lead, you will be responsible for leading the company's sustainability strategy, governance, ESG reporting, social certifications, and community impact initiatives. You will partner with leaders across the organization to ensure our commitments translate into measurable impact while strengthening our position as a purpose-driven company recognized for social responsibility.
What You'll DoLead the execution and continuous improvement of NatureSweet's sustainability strategy, ESG roadmap, and governance framework.Manage sustainability certifications including B Corp, Fair Trade, EFI, SA8000, SMETA, and other social compliance standards.Coordinate sustainability reporting, ESG metrics, materiality assessments, and performance dashboards to ensure data integrity and meaningful business insights.Partner with cross-functional teams to drive sustainability initiatives, educational programs, community impact projects, and JEDI efforts.Build strong relationships with certification bodies, NGOs, customers, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.8+ years of experience in Sustainability, ESG, Corporate Social Responsibility, Human Rights, Social Compliance, or related areas.Proven experience leading certification processes such as B Corp, Fair Trade, EFI, SA8000, SMETA, Sedex, or similar frameworks.Experience managing ESG reporting, sustainability KPIs, community impact initiatives, and cross-functional projects.Advanced English required.
