Job description
Auxis is expanding its Cloud & Infrastructure Operations team and is currently recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer to manage, automate, and support complex enterprise server environments.In this role, you will lead the technical design of operational runbooks, perform L2/L3 troubleshooting for datacenter and WAN/LAN operations, and guide junior engineers in root-cause analysis and system optimization across hybrid cloud ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:Lead cloud and on-premises datacenter operations, deployments, and client migrations.Design, document, and execute operating runbooks and automated server procedures.Provide L2/L3 escalated troubleshooting across Linux and Windows Server environments.Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training to elevate team performance.Manage incident queues, root-cause analysis (RCA), and monthly analytics reporting.
Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications:Experience: 6+ years in systems engineering, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments.Operating Systems: Advanced proficiency in Linux (RedHat, Amazon Linux, CentOS) and Windows Server (2012+).Core Administration: Extensive experience with MS Entra ID, Active Directory, and network protocols (DNS, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP).Automation & Scripting: Proven ability to write scripts using PowerShell, Python, Shell, or VB script.Required Certifications: Azure Administrator (or above), AWS SysOps (or above), and ITIL 4 Foundations.Language & Availability: English Level B2+ (advanced professional proficiency) and willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.
