Job description
Overview of Proposed Services
The Technical Delivery Manager will work within product-focused teams to deliver end-to-end technical services and provide ongoing production support. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of technical projects, managing technical teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify key business objectives and recommend technical solutions through business process and management consulting analysis.
- Manage project scope from inception to closure, including defining schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate resources and prepare project teams for kick-off; ensure milestones are met effectively.
- Control project scope and mitigate risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure project consultants comply with configuration, development, and methodology standards.
- Drive efficient and cost-effective delivery processes.
- Provide technical direction and leadership to teams.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices, standards, and methodologies.
- Lead and manage technical teams including developers, engineers, and other technical professionals.
- Identify and manage risks related to technical delivery.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve complex challenges.
Mandatory Criteria
- Minimum 3+ years of experience delivering Cyber Security and assurance projects.
- Proven ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and unblock delivery issues.
- Significant experience implementing Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in complex ICT environments.
