Job description
Join a manufacturing team in Bogotá, Colombia, as an Industrial Electrician Technician. The company manufactures production lines, including filling machines, capping machines, labeling machines, and conveyor belts. In this full-time, on-site role, you will help keep electrical systems operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Wire and assemble industrial electrical circuits according to plans and technical specifications.
- Install electrical components, including electrical switches, contactors, pumps, motors, and PLCs, to support automated operations.
- Diagnose electrical system faults and implement effective solutions.
- Coordinate scheduled installation and repair work with technicians and maintenance staff.
- Document electrical system interventions and maintain accurate daily activity records.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements during all electrical work.
- Help train new technicians in electrical installation and maintenance practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Technology.
- Two to five years of experience in industrial electrical work in manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of wiring, electrical circuits, switches, contactors, pumps, and motors.
- PLC knowledge is beneficial.
- Electrical safety or industry standards certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a dynamic environment.
