Job description
CENTRYGAS is hiring a full-time Appliance Repair Technician specializing in gas appliances and white goods in Bogotá, Colombia. In this on-site role, you will diagnose and repair appliances, perform maintenance and safety checks, and help customers keep their appliances working safely and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot gas appliances and white goods, completing effective repairs in a timely manner.
- Perform routine maintenance and appliance safety checks.
- Record service calls, repairs, and installed parts for quality control and accurate documentation.
- Advise customers on appliance care and maintenance.
- Keep current with appliance technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
- Work with colleagues to improve repair processes and customer service.
- Follow safety regulations and company policies during all repair work.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Technical diploma in appliance repair or a related field.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with gas appliances and white goods.
- Appliance repair and maintenance experience is highly desirable; at least two years is preferred.
- Familiarity with appliance repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Gas safety certification is an advantage.
