We’re looking for a Systems Administrator, Technology Services who is passionate about infrastructure, system reliability, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, supporting critical business systems, and contributing to the continuous improvement of enterprise technology environments across Walmart Centroamérica.As part of our Technology Services team, you will help maintain and support key infrastructure services, manage incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of systems that power our business operations.
What you’ll doIncident Management & Issue Resolution• Record, classify, prioritize, and resolve technical incidents and service requests. • Perform troubleshooting for low to moderate complexity technical issues. • Escalate major incidents and unresolved issues to appropriate stakeholders. • Verify successful resolution and closure with end users. • Maintain accurate records and repositories of issues and resolutions. System Administration & Infrastructure Support• Support enterprise systems, infrastructure services, and business-critical applications. • Configure and maintain virtual machines and infrastructure components. • Assist in managing cloud-based services, networking components, VPNs, firewalls, and core business systems. • Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health. • Support configuration and release management processes. DevOps & Continuous Improvement• Participate in application maintenance, monitoring, and improvement initiatives. • Track and analyze system performance metrics and operational indicators. • Support corrective, adaptive, and preventive maintenance activities. • Contribute to automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency efforts. • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Collaboration & Business Partnership• Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project teams. • Support the implementation of technology solutions that meet business needs. • Build trusted relationships across teams while promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing. • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and operational excellence. What you’ll bring• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field. • Experience in technical support, systems administration, infrastructure operations, or related areas. • Knowledge of incident management, configuration management, and system administration practices. • Experience troubleshooting software and hardware environments. • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtual machines, networking, and enterprise applications. • Familiarity with scripting, automation, or programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL, or C++ is a plus. • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement. • Knowledge of digital accessibility standards and WCAG 2.2 AA practices is a plus.
