About the role
Rachel Lancaster - Townsend is seeking a Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist to research and resolve historical AR balances, reconcile customer accounts, and support collections and dispute resolution.
Responsibilities
- Work from AR aging reports and reconcile customer accounts.
- Research invoices, payments, credits, and deductions.
- Resolve unapplied cash and payment discrepancies, and perform cash application.
- Contact customers regarding past-due balances.
- Research and clear open items in SAP.
- Assist with collections and dispute resolution.
- Prepare documentation for write-offs and legal collections.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Strong collections and reconciliation experience.
- Hands-on SAP AR experience is required.
- Advanced Excel skills and cash application experience.
- AR aging and account clean-up experience.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.
