Test Automation Architect

Tasks

• Design and govern enterprise automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript for Guidewire applications
• Automation strategy, CI/CD integration, AI-assisted testing, framework governance, and team mentoring

Requirements

• 10–12 years in test automation, with 3+ years in Playwright
• Local candidates only
• Testing and automation experience with Guidewire applications
• 3+ years; fixtures, hooks, locators, assertions, browser contexts, tracing, retries, and reporting
• Types, interfaces, classes, modules, promises, asynchronous programming, and error handling
• Scalable, modular frameworks with reusable components, utilities, and libraries
• Dynamic locator recovery and framework integration
• AI-assisted test design, test-data generation, defect analysis, and code validation
• Jenkins/Azure DevOps; parallel, distributed execution, and sharding
• Test planning, estimation, code reviews, mentoring, and stakeholder communication
• Preferred: REST API automation, P&C insurance workflows, RAG/GenAI/LLM testing, Docker, cloud execution, and performance testing

Schedule

• Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week from Day 1
• Duration: Long-term
