Trailer Mechanic

TRAILER MECHANIC

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers
- DOT/FHWA inspections
- Work on lighting, electrical, axle, brake and suspension systems
- Structural repairs (aluminum, steel, body rails, panels, roofing)
- Flooring repairs (aluminum, steel, wood)
- Liftgate knowledge a plus
- Welding and fabrication skills preferred

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in trailer maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have your own tools (or ability to purchase)
- Read and write English
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a drug screen, physical, background check, and have a valid driving record
- Reliable attendance

Physical Demands:
- Stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in tight spaces
- Lift up to 75 lbs (frequently 55 lbs)
- Use hand/power tools, compressed air, forklifts, ladders, and work at heights
