Part-Time Translator & Formatter Job in Tegucigalpa, Honduras

Y6T is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Translator & Formatter to join our team on a part-time basis in Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazán Department, Honduras. This role is essential to ensure translated documents are accurate, culturally relevant, and professionally formatted to meet client standards. You will play a key role in enhancing the quality of our translation services and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents from source to target language with precision and cultural relevance.
• Edit and proofread translations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to project guidelines.
• Format documents consistently and professionally according to predetermined styles.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients about project specifications and deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback from clients and senior translators to improve translation quality continuously.
• Maintain organized records of completed tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Translation or Linguistics.
• Fluency in both source and target languages.
• Strong communication, editing, and formatting skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with translation software and tools is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant translation experience preferred.
