On a day-to-day basis, the Travel Agent responds to inquiries, provides destination information, and recommends itineraries based on client preferences and budgets. The role includes managing reservations for transportation, accommodation, activities, and car rentals, as well as modifying or canceling bookings as needed. The Travel Agent handles travel arrangements, prepares accurate confirmations, and ensures all details are communicated clearly to clients. Additional responsibilities include promoting relevant travel packages, assisting with sales opportunities, and maintaining accurate records in booking systems while delivering professional customer service.Qualifications Strong skills in reservations and travel arrangements, including organizing transportation, accommodation, and activities.Proven customer service experience, with the ability to respond promptly, professionally, and empathetically to client needs.Experience coordinating car rental bookings and related travel services in alignment with client itineraries.Sales skills, including the ability to identify client needs, recommend suitable travel products, and support closing bookings.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills (e.g., Spanish) are an advantage.Comfort working remotely with strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.Familiarity with online booking platforms, CRM tools, or travel management software.Prior experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or a customer-facing role is preferred.
