Treasury & Accounts Payable SpecialistJoin OMODA & JAECOO ArgentinaOMODA & JAECOO Argentina is looking for a Treasury & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Finance team in Buenos Aires.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-growing international automotive company and play a key role in establishing finance processes, strengthening internal controls and supporting the implementation of SAP in Argentina.The position combines treasury operations with a strong Accounts Payable focus. The successful candidate will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments, supplier invoices, bank transactions and employee expense reimbursements while supporting cash flow management, financial reporting and compliance with company policies.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily treasury operations, including supplier payments, taxes, social security contributions, employee reimbursements and other local obligations.Receive, review and process supplier invoices, credit notes and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies and local regulations.Validate purchase orders, approvals, tax documentation and accounting information before processing payments.Prepare payment proposals and payment runs, ensuring compliance with internal approval procedures and company policies.Manage operational banking activities, including bank reconciliations and support for electronic banking platforms and payment workflows.Assist in preparing daily cash position reports and short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts.Support treasury activities related to international payments, foreign currency transactions and coordination with local banks and HQ.Reconcile supplier accounts, investigate discrepancies and follow up on overdue, duplicated or unmatched items.Support month-end closing activities, including AP reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and audit documentation.Prepare treasury and Accounts Payable reports and analyses for local management and HQ.Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, Purchasing, HR and other business areas to ensure accurate financial records.Contribute to process improvements, internal controls, finance procedure standardization and SAP implementation activities.RequirementsUniversity degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.2–4 years of experience in Treasury, Accounts Payable, accounting operations or a related finance role.Solid understanding of payment processes, invoice review, bank reconciliations and cash management.Knowledge of Argentine invoicing and tax documentation requirements.Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup formulas, SUMIFS and reconciliation of large data sets).Experience working with an ERP system; SAP experience is highly desirable.Good written and spoken English.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive mindset.Availability to work full-time on-site in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires.Experience in an international, automotive, import/distribution or start-up environment will be considered an advantage.What We OfferThe opportunity to join a fast-growing international automotive company.Direct participation in the implementation of SAP and the development of finance processes in Argentina.Exposure to regional and HQ finance teams.A dynamic, collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment.Professional growth and development within an expanding organization.Competitive compensation and benefits.If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career and contribute to building the finance function of a new operation, we would love to hear from you.
