Responsibilities: Drive trucks safely to deliver goods, following company policies and traffic regulations Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure handling and shipment accuracy Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, cargo, and fuel consumption Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide updates and resolve issues Plan and execute efficient routes to manage time effectively Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and hours of service regulations Requirements: Valid truck driving license with endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples preferred) Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience with a clean driving record Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent; CDL training preferred Skills: Defensive driving techniques Vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge Navigation and route planning expertise Time management and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Accurate record-keeping and reporting Basic mechanical understanding of trucks and equipment Compensation: $29 per hour Job Type: Full-time, on-site position in Houston, TX.
