Key Responsibilities Operate a truck safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, verifying the correct goods and quantities are transported. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to update them on delivery progress. Adhere to schedules and ensure timely deliveries while managing unforeseen circumstances. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the truck to ensure operational excellence. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid truck driving license with a clean driving record. Proven driving experience with a minimum of 2 years behind the wheel. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Ability to handle logistics software for tracking deliveries preferred. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
