Job description
Ebenezer SSL trucking company LLC is hiring a full-time Truck Driver with a clean Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will operate a 53-foot dry van and help deliver freight safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 53-foot dry van while following applicable transportation regulations and company policies.
- Transport freight to assigned locations and meet delivery schedules.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and customers about delivery times and shipment issues.
- Provide professional customer service and communicate shipment details clearly.
- Use GPS and maps to plan routes and adapt to changing road conditions or delays.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL); a clean driving record is required.
- Strong communication skills and a safety-focused approach to driving.
- Effective time management and route-planning skills.
- Experience with vehicle inspections, maintenance, or troubleshooting common issues.
