About the role

Educational Edge Tutoring is a family-run, K-12 tutoring company based in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs.

For 6 years we've worked exclusively with certified educators to provide 1:1 individualized academic support.

Tasks

• Plan & teach, usually 1–2x a week per student
• Work with K-12 students, depending on your certification and expertise, including students with learning differences and IEPs
• Track progress after each session and send updates to parents

Requirements

• Certified teacher (required)
• Hands-on experience in your subject area
• Room to take on 3–4 students or more
• PA background clearances (Act 34/114/151)

Schedule

• Afternoon and evening availability - after school and weekends are our most requested windows
• 1099 independent contractor. You set your own availability and select the students you want to work with
• Part-time, flexible hours
