About the role
Confidential is hiring for unit support in housekeeping environmental services. Help keep the facility clean, safe, and healthy.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms.
- Clean discharge rooms and prepare them for new patients.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash and debris.
- Respond to spills and cleanup requests.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
- Assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or one year of relevant experience.
- Housekeeping, hospital, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Dependable and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow instructions and work in a healthcare environment.
- A clear background check, proof of Varicella, Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Flu vaccination or immunity, tuberculosis screening, a physical exam that must be passed, and a passed urine drug screen are required.
Hospital experience is not required; housekeeping, hotel, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience is also considered.
