Utility Person - Facilities

About the role

Day-to-day upkeep and operation of City facilities, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and well-maintained for public use.

Tasks

• Perform various forms of upkeep and repair tasks in City facilities.
• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Citys indoor ice surfaces.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of employees in the maintenance and
• Assist contractors and trades personnel in the repair or installation
• Drive, operate, and inspect various vehicles and equipment.
• Identify and report to Supervisor the need for major repairs and provide advice.
• Ensure all work meets applicable Provincial and Federal code standards.
• Actively models and promotes the core values of Professionalism, Respect, Pride, One Team and Integrity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

• Full-Time

Pay

• $27.52 - $33.12 hourly
