UX Designer

About the role

Join an internal consulting-style UX organization supporting business units with new design needs, demand spikes, and complex enterprise initiatives.

Tasks

• Designers may manage 2–3 concurrent projects, typically around three months each, across varied users, products, and platforms.

Requirements

• A strategic UX/Product Designer with strong user-centered problem-solving skills-not just visual design expertise.
• Candidates must clearly explain their design thinking, research, decisions, trade-offs, stakeholder collaboration, business impact, and user outcomes.
• Experience designing complex enterprise software, internal platforms/employee experiences, customer-facing products, or large-scale systems.
• End-to-end design ownership, from discovery and research through iteration, delivery, and outcome evaluation.
• Strong fundamentals in screen layout, information hierarchy, content organization, typography, visual clarity, and design systems.
• Comfort improving existing and legacy platforms within established design systems and technical constraints; most work enhances existing platforms.
• Hands-on curiosity and use of AI tools in design workflows (e.g., Figma AI, ChatGPT, Claude) and/or experience designing AI-enabled products, copilots, generative AI features, or conversational interfaces.
• Agency/consulting experience is a plus.
• Financial services experience is nice to have, not required.
• A portfolio link is essential, but finished screens alone are not enough.
• Showcase case studies explaining the business problem, discovery and research, iterations, design rationale, challenges, trade-offs, stakeholder management, final outcomes, and measurable business/user impact.
• Prepare a dedicated presentation with 1–2 detailed case studies (Figma slides or a deck recommended).
