UX UI Designer

At Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Uruguay, we are looking for a UX UI Designer to join our team supporting one of our global customers. This role requires someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable working in a hybrid model or onsite model depending on the final project.
Key Responsibilities
Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Create visual assets, graphics, and images based on business requirements.Maintain, enhance, and govern design systems, component libraries, and asset repositories.Create and configure new design elements that improve usability, accessibility, consistency, and overall user experience.Ensure designs adhere to responsive design principles and accessibility standards.Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective design solutions.Support design implementation and work closely with development teams to ensure design accuracy and consistency.Promote best practices in user experience, visual design, and accessibility across digital products.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.Experience working with design systems, component libraries, and asset management.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or equivalent platforms. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and layout design.Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.Experience creating high-quality visual assets for digital platforms.Working knowledge of front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.Ability to collaborate effectively with front-end developers and understand technical implementation considerations.Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.Knowledge of user research, usability testing, and user-centered design methodologies.Experience collaborating with cross-functional product and engineering teams.Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar collaboration platforms.
