K Jett Services is hiring a full-time Vacuum Truck Operator in Merriam, Kansas. This role serves commercial customers on scheduled routes and services grease interceptors within 100 miles of the Kansas City metro area.

About the Role

K Jett Services provides residential and commercial plumbing and drain cleaning, hydro jetting, water and sewer repair and replacement, and vacuum truck services, including grease trap pumping.

• Operate a vacuum truck to service commercial customers and pump grease interceptors.
• Work primarily daytime routes, with a possible monthly overnight route.
• Be available for occasional after-hours callouts as needed by this 24/7 company.
• Maintain a clean truck and keep equipment in good working order.
• Handle suction hoses measuring 3 and 4 inches in diameter and use basic hand tools.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain positive customer relationships.

Schedule and Pay

Training pay starts at $22.50 per hour. After 90 days, a pay increase may be awarded following a positive review. Pay for experienced applicants will be determined during the interview. Technicians average 40 or more hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.

Requirements

• At least 25 years of age.
• Valid Class B driver's license with air brake endorsement.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Reliable, self-motivated team player with strong attendance.
• Customer service skills and basic hand tool knowledge.
• Ability to lift and handle 3- and 4-inch suction hoses.
