Join Our Team as a Vacuum Truck Operator in Merriam, Kansas!

K Jett Services, a leading residential and commercial plumbing and drain cleaning company specializing in hydro jetting technology, is seeking a skilled Vacuum Truck Operator. This role focuses on servicing commercial customers and maintaining grease interceptors within 100 miles of the KC Metro Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vacuum trucks to service grease traps and interceptors on scheduled routes.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper working condition of equipment and trucks.
• Provide excellent customer service to commercial clients.
• Lift and handle suction hoses (3” & 4” diameter) and use basic hand tools.
• Be available for occasional overnight routes and after-hours call outs as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid Class B driver’s license with airbrake endorsement.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Minimum age of 25 years.
• Strong customer service skills and reliability.
• Good attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting pay of $22.50 per hour during training.
• Potential pay increase after 90 days with positive review; experienced operators’ pay determined at interview.
• Average 40+ hours per week with overtime opportunities.
