Job description
About the role
A leading independent CPA firm in Burlington is looking for an accountant ready to build a career in business valuations.
Tasks
- Prepare valuation models, forecasts, earnings analyses, and discounted cash flow analyses
- Work on valuations for shareholder and matrimonial disputes, transactions, and corporate reorganizations
- Support M&A advisory work, including Quality of Earnings and due diligence
- Liaise with clients, accountants, lawyers, and external advisors
Requirements
- post-secondary graduate in accounting or finance with 2+ years of accounting experience, knowledge of ASPE, and strong Excel skills
- A CPA designation is preferred
- CaseWare and TaxPrep experience is an asset
