Job description
LOOKING FOR VANCOUVER BASED FILM+EPISODIC VIDEO EDITOR
EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS PLEASE
Looking for an experienced freelance film and episodic editor with their own studio and equipment who is interested in working on film and episodic audiovisual projects.
At the moment, I have a short film that I’m looking for an editor for (paid).
We’re looking to build a relationship with several editors in the BC/Vancouver Lower Mainland area who know how to set up projects and edit according to long-form post-production standards.
The type of films we’re making can range from arthouse drama to fast-paced genre, and we’re looking for an editor who understands how to edit for attention. This may mean everything from dance club scenes to thriller to action. Our work could be Wong Kar-wai–style.
If you know how to color and/or can also act as the post-production supervisor to put the final film together after receiving input from sound and the colorist, that’s even better.
If this is you, or if you know someone, please feel free to message your resume, demo reel, location, and contact info to: (remove "NOSPAM"). Ideally, you are available in the month of September.
