Virtual Tax Preparer

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Tax Preparer to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and small businesses. Working in a remote environment, you will leverage your expertise in taxation while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and small businesses. Analyze tax documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations. Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address questions regarding their tax filings. Ensure adherence to deadlines and provide timely updates to clients regarding their tax status. Maintain accurate records of tax transactions and client communications. Stay updated on tax laws and changes that may affect clients' tax situations. Assist in resolving any tax-related issues or audits that arise post-filing. Required and preferred qualifications Certification as a Tax Preparer is required. Proven skills in taxation and tax preparation. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with tax software, such as TurboTax or H&R Block. Prior experience in tax preparation (minimum of 2 years is preferred).
